Inactivation of Human Rhinovirus due to Heat, UV Irradiation and Chemical Disinfectants
To evaluate and understand inactivation of HRV under many physical conditions and chemical agents, HRV86 were selected to expose with temperature, ultraviolet light (UV), Sodium hypochlorite, Virkon S, Peracetic acid (PAA), Glutaraldehyde and Ethanolin, respectively. The inactivation of HRV was analyzed by infectivity of the viral strains on the HeLa cells. Our research found the rhinovirus was...
متن کاملInactivation of Mycobacterium avium complex by UV irradiation.
The effectiveness of two major UV technologies against a highly prevalent species of Mycobacterium avium complex was investigated. Our study indicates that M. avium is much more resistant to UV irradiation than most waterborne pathogens and that it is one of the rare microorganisms that are highly resistant to both chemical and UV disinfection in water.

متن کاملComparative inactivation of Aujeszky’s disease virus, Porcine teschovirus and Vesicular stomatitis virus by chemical disinfectants
We tested the germicide activity of 1% Chloramin BM, 1% Incidin Plus, 1% Lysoformin 3000, 0.2% Mikasept KP, and 2% Sekusept Forte against viruses in suspension (suspension test) and dried onto a surface (carrier test). The agents of the porcine encephalomyelitis (Porcine teschovirus, strains CAPM V-86, CAPM V-37), Aujeszky’s disease (strains CAPM V-166, CAPM V-327) and vesicular stomatitis (str...
